While I'm a big fan of eating my cooking leaves a lot to desire so I was surprised when friends suggested a culinary tour of the Galilee area during a recent short trip to Israel. It turned out to be the highlight of the vacation as we ate, bird-watched, met amazing people, toured nature and historical parks and shot about a million photos. We are already talking about a return trip to see what Abbie Rosner comes up with for an encore.

Now back at my desk in Brussels, I am dreaming of the wonderful Galilee tour.

Thank you for all the information on Tzippori and for introducing us to Galilee cuisine, such an interesting couple, Rame and the olive grove.

A sensuous window into the Galilee, I can’t recommend Abbie Rosner’s tours highly enough. We started at a spice factory with a talk tailored to our questions about cuisine and health. After making our own zatar, we had it right there on fresh pita with labaneh. Then to Tsippori for a look at the Hellenistic mosaics, complete with insight they provide into past eating and drinking habits. And finally a superb vegetarian meal with Nuzha Nassar, cook and teacher extraordinaire, at her home. Well organized, just the right balance of mental and corporeal pleasure.

Many thanks for a wonderful trip to the forests of Galilee! We all had amazing time and it was one of the most exciting cultural experiences in Israel! My daughter and my mom loved spending time in the nature and of course trying delicious food made by Husein's family. Thank you very much for organizing it and inviting us to join!

Warm and gracious, Abbie took us to fascinating places we never would have discovered on our own and was generous with her time.  We ended the day having Abbie as a new friend.  We couldn't have asked for a lovelier experience of the Galilee.

I am looking forward to joining you on another outing. I particularly liked the casual, friendly nature of the day. It felt like we were guests, not tourists. Very nice.
